We are two juniors from Scarsdale, New York who are devastated by the recent deaths of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and George Floyd and shocked by the behavior of the police and the ways in which they are able to avoid the law and murder innocent, unarmed people. The nationwide protests of people coming together are inspiring and we must continue to fight to change this societal mindset and end these inhumane crimes.
We are focused on promoting continued efforts for change in the future, because this is not a trend, or a hashtag, these are human lives that deserve more. Please consider donating here, where 100% of the proceeds will be directed towards The Innocence Project. The Innocence Project is a non-profit organization that works to exonerate the wrongly and unjustly convicted through DNA testing and reform the criminal justice system to prevent these injustices from occurring in the future.
