Brad Frick & Family Recover from Accident

Hi, my name is Kim and I’m starting this fundraiser to help Brad Frick get back on his feet financially and spiritually after going through a really bad motor vehicle accident. Brad was driving home from work one evening and was hit by a semi truck, causing him serious injuries to his lumbar spine, hips and pelvis. He has been being treated by many different medical specialists, but is a long way off from recovery.

In the meantime, he is unable to work at all and support his children. He has two kids, Aubriana, age 17, and Landry, age 14, whom he has raised practically on his own since they were both very young (their mother is not around). Brad works very hard at a very physical job and works long hours to put food on the table and a roof over their heads and to provide for his family. Now he is unable to walk more than a few steps at a time, unable to stand for more than 5-10 minutes at a time and has a long road to get back to any kind of normal function. He also lost his job when this accident occurred, and he has no health insurance benefits for himself or the kids.

Brad has sold everything he owns of any value to pay his rent and to try to keep food on the table, keep the lights on, and to have transportation to get himself back and forth to doctor appointments and get the kids back and forth to school. He has hired an attorney to file suit against the trucking company since the accident was the truck driver’s fault, but it will take months or longer for that lawsuit to be settled.

Brad is a great guy and has always done everything he could to help others. It would be so welcomed and so very appreciated if you could help him out in this desperate situation so he can keep himself and his kids sheltered and fed through this ordeal. He is applying for every form of public aid he can, but the process is slow and we don’t know yet if or when he will be approved for public assistance.
