After being diagnosed with Guillain Barre syndrome life has been fairly rough but I’m not giving up. GBS syndrome is an auto immune disease where the immune system attacks peripheral nerves and has taken away my ability to walk unassisted and limited the use of my hands. I’m working to get disability benefits and have sent off many rounds of paperwork as well as working with DHR to have a liveable household. I have survived with help from my faith in God, my family, some surprise gifts from friends and selling off some personal property. I thank everyone who has helped me pray for all of you!
