Brad Stein Memorial Run for Charity: Part 2

Tax deductible
Aaaand we're back!  Welcome to the Brad Stein Memorial Run for Charity: Part 2.

Four years ago, July 30th, my Uncle Brad passed away.  While I -- like many others -- am still incredulous and heartbroken, last year I decided to spend the subsequent weeks doing something positive instead of being sad.  With the help of family, friends, and complete strangers (who are now friends) we raised $5,000 in Brad's memory.

On August 10th, with your help, I will be running the same 5K  race in Asbury Park, NJ to raise as much money as possible for the Cancer Research Institute (https://www.cancerresearch.org/about-cri).  CRI funds lifesaving research around the world that has led to a new class of treatments called immunotherapy.  CRI is doing some exciting things that will undoubtedly help many people and our efforts will support that.

Last year we raised $5,000 for Children's Home + Aid in Chicago, a very worthy charity that Uncle Brad and my Aunt Debi dedicated an enormous amount of time and money to over the years.  We'll raise funds for Children's Home + Aid again, I assure you, but this year I've decided to change things up.

Over the years (and very recently), I have had close friends and family members fight various forms of cancer  -- some of which are also Brad's friends and family.  Whether a patient or caregiver, "cancer f*cking sucks" (that's a direct Brad Stein quote) and our loved ones need our help. This link below tells you more about Brad Stein and the great story of his charity efforts that  have helped a tremendous amount of people.

If you knew and loved Brad, please donate.  Please feel free to share this on your social media pages and encourage others to donate any amount to help find new solutions for fighting cancer.

I plan on being in touch with you a lot more over the next 2 weeks, but I promise things will go back to normal shortly after!

Thank you to everyone for considering. I hope all are well.
