Braden Bennett's Memorial Fund

The outpouring of love we have received and the support shown by more than we could possibly have imagined is beautiful and touching.

We continue to hear stories about Braden that we never knew. Kindnesses he bestowed upon others, messages he sent to his younger cousins and aunties checking up on them when he hadn't seen them for awhile, the list keeps growing.

He was truly an amazing individual and we are proud to be his parents.

For those who haven't heard his story yet, Braden was driving home from work on Monday, October 14th, when another motorist pulled across traffic from the opposite side of the road, right in front of him. Braden downshifted his motorcycle and tried to avoid the crash, but he was in the middle lane so the accident was unavoidable.

There was a man who heard the crash and saw Braden land. He ran over to check on him and held Braden's hand as his life ended. We are forever grateful for the kindness of this complete stranger (Joe). Because of him, our boy didn't die alone.

There was the funeral cost, hospital bills, credit card debts, etc that we have to take care of.

We also weren't able to work the first 4 weeks after losing him. Every dollar donated helps us to pay the expenses so we can focus on each other as we begin our journey of healing.
