On January 9th I will begin recording my new album and I need help covering the initial costs.
I'm trying something new with these recordings. I'll be working with producer Nicholas Frampton (Field Division, The River Monks) as well as four world-class musicians who have recorded with the singers from Band of Horses, Travis, Franz Ferdinand, Grandaddy and Midlake. We'll be spending five days at Redwood Studio (Denton, TX), recording this new batch of songs.

Travel = $300
Musicians = $2,900
Studio = $2,030
Pre-Production = $337.50
Producer = $1,000
Editing & Overdubs = $500
Mixing = $750
Mastering = $600
TOTAL = $8,417.50
This project is important to me because, after 20 years, I am stepping away from how I normally make albums to try something new. My hope is that by opening myself to this new experience, it will bring a fresh energy to my performance and help me to create my most genuine, expressive, creative and inspired recordings yet.
Everyone who donates will be invited to a private concert and listening party, where you can hear the new recordings before anyone else.
