I've created this fund for my dear friend and her family, Kellie Bradley. Kellie is one who is always helping others and blessing people every day! Her love for the Lord is amazing. I am reaching out, in hopes, that others will come forward to help her at this time. Her story is below.

Our story!

On September 16th 2021what was to be a one and done operation quickly turned into a slow and painful nightmare. Brent needed a knee replacement procedure to correct the issue of wear and tear from an ongoing childhood bike accident. Little did we know as each month passed he would be in more pain and grow weaker. Let's face it sometimes when it comes to sickness, we think they are gonna to milk it for all it's worth. Right ladies? At least that's what I thought. He's probably just being a baby. Bless him. He wasn't. He was in so much pain.

One night the Lord had woke me and told me to pray over his knee. A quick trip back to the surgeons office revealed he had an infection. January 2022 He ended up in surgery to remove and replace the cement disc between the joint. He had a catheter inserted into his arm that went into his heart. For at least 6 weeks, I got to administer antibiotics twice a day in the morning before work and at night before bed. 4 hours of extra time we got to spend together each day.

As weeks and days went unfortunately he did not get better he got worse. The Lord would show me when he would have a fever and the next morning the Lord told me to call the doctor and take him in. They drained 50 cc's of fluid off of his knee for the second time and this time they found staph. July 2022 Back into the OR. This time they completely removed the knee replacement and placed a block in his leg. This was an attempt to let his body heal as it cleared away the staph infection. With another six to eight weeks of the heavy antibiotics administers through IV this time twice a day, two hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. Thank you vancomycin and fungamycin.

He tried really hard to get better but it just wasn't working and as of August 1st 2022 he was unfortunately let go. Along with that so were our family medical benefits. Cobra was astronomical. $700 a month just for him alone. We postponed putting any replacement in until we could get the insurance activated to hold them over until we could get disability and alternative insurance that would fit our already extremely tight budget.

Paperwork was started and just like every place since covid there's not enough workers to keep up with the paperwork and no one there to expedite anything . We finally got a scheduled surgery date for December 28th of 2022. We are so excited that finally he was going to get his knee back in place and hopefully by February he will be back to his old self and ready to find a new job. Wrong!

While trying to clean off some debris from his vehicle, he slipped and fell.

Long story short he not only broke his femur he really broke his femur and several places.. next to where the new replacement is supposed to go and just above. His orthopedic surgeon said it was honestly the worst break he had ever seen. I know it was serious when he called me at 6:30 in the morning. He also explained that he did not think that he could take on the task and because of the severity it would take a special team of doctors. 8 Days later after being transferred from One hospital to the other a team of surgeons put together his leg the best they could using rods and pins.

The doctor said it would be 6 months to a year before they would consider during the knee replacement in the bone has to be completely stabilized. That's where we are today. He will be going through more tests to discover why his bone broke and we are trusting and hoping for the best results. God is still in control and regardless of what we go through we trust in him and pull on him for all of our strength stay focused on him and not the problem because we know he is the answer.

There was another medical incident concerning one of our children. This was out of my mind at this point and all I could do was surrender and give it to Jesus immediately. 36 hours into two different hospitals and an ambulance ride with no insurance. We were in the trauma unit and I couldn't even think. I so hate Satan!
But still all I can do is give a shout out to how good God is and give him all the glory. Our child was healed within those 36 hours without any recurring issues. That kid walked out of the hospital.
(Please.. We kindly request that no one don't asks what happened or who it was.. It's their story to tell) ❤️ one day they can share it if they choose. I am so proud of them and the recovery they made.

Before all this, our home had been under an upheaval and remodel that is a whole other story. Many of you have heard it or know about it. God is doing something amazing in the Bradley Manor. It's not the way I would suggest going about it LOL but it will get there eventually. Our kids have gone through a huge sacrifice not having their friends over, to stay the night or have visitors come. We've given up the ability to have guests in our home. We even jokingly got to the of who cares what's the point of trying it's not going to kill any better let's burn it and start over. We know It can get depressing at times but it's just a process that it has to go through that many just can't understand. So we decided to push through it. Without taking out a loan we made the choice that it was best for us to trust the word and the Lord and fix the repairs as we were able.

We have flooring and some Sheetrock. We've got some paint and we've got some screws. There's a whole lot of other things in between there we need as well. But God has supplied pretty much everything we need as we need it. I have been blessed by so many of you with your encouraging words. I've been blessed by those that have come and help me paint, clean and restore the damages done by the builders and the boogers. This house was put together so wrong and by the Holy Spirit we are going to put it back so right. Isn't that what God is doing with us?

Just like this house we are being transformed by the renewing of mind and our hearts.

We thank you so much for sowing into our life and joining us through this auction. We pray that all the proceeds that are going to the designated beneficiaries touches and blesses them as well. Thank you for hearing our story. We look forward to glorifying God and getting these medical bills paid off in full in the name of Jesus and when our home is completed we are going to have one big party to celebrate all the great things that God has done.

We are hoping by that time Brent will be able to enjoy both of his knees and be able to bend down and thank the God that we all love. May God continue to bless you and keep your family and abundantly bless you back a hundredfold for every seed sown.
