Bradley Callum peace
Donation protected
On behalf of Bradley's siblings Nikki, Jill, Michael, Hetty, and Te Te, we want to express our deep appreciation for the generous contributions we received, reflecting the love and support that surrounded Bradley.
As many of you know, Bradley's father was estranged, and his siblings initially covered the funeral expenses with the understanding that the raised funds would contribute. Bradley is now due some inheritance from his late mother, and in the absence of a will, this is defaulting to his estranged father, who is demanding the money raised.
The family believes that all donors who were acquainted with Bradley would prefer the alternative distribution of funds outlined below rather than them going to his estranged father. If you disagree and would like a refund, please contact the siblings directly, and we will endeavour to arrange this. For clarity, we will share screenshots of the balance transfers on Bradley's Facebook page.
In tribute to Bradley's ambition to join the forces, a donation of £500 has been made to Combat Stress.
Additionally, £500 has been allocated to TACKLING MINDS, a mental health initiative focused on fishing, reflecting Bradley's love for water and fishing.
Another £500 has been contributed to LooseHeadz, a rugby-focused mental health charity. Bradley's brother has organised a memorial cup between LooseHeadz and his team to promote mental health awareness within male rugby clubs and establish a legacy for Bradley's brother to play for now and then for his nephew to participate in eventually.
A £500 donation has been directed to Nelson's Journey, a children's bereavement charity.
The remaining funds will be utilised to procure a trophy named The Bradley Peace Cup, which will be contested annually between Sandbach Rugby Club and LooseHeadz to raise awareness of mental health and honour Bradley's memory with drinks raised in his memory.
Any additional funds received will be forwarded to Nelson Trust.
Once again, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for all the love and support you have shown.
We as a group have set up this go fund me to help brads family cover the cost of his funeral.
Bradley took his own life early hours on Friday the 4th of august.
Although his girlfriend and paramedics restarted his heart, the damage was already done, and Bradley had severe brain damage.
He remained on life support over the weekend while his family were around him 24/7.
Sunday life support was withdrawn, and Bradley passed away. It has been an extremely hard couple of months for Bradleys family. They lost there Mum (Brads Best Friend) late March. Since her passing Bradley’s struggle with mental health became too much for him. He couldn’t bare a life without his Mum. those who knew and loved Bradley have probably seen the struggles he’s had to face in his short lifetime.
Bradleys family decided to allow Bradley's organs to be donated. They hope that within this heartbreaking situation there can be some light placed into family’s that truly need it.
All of Brads mates an Family would encourage anyone who is struggling with mental health or considering suicide to reach out to someone they love as its never the only option.
