Sudden Loss of Bradley Fiddes, Father of 5
Donation protected
On Tuesday, December 19th, we received terrible news. My husband of 23
years and father to our five kids suddenly passed away. We don’t know
yet why Bradley suddenly left this world. We hope to get answers after
the autopsy is completed.
We were already struggling as a family, in many ways. We had our
problems, but we loved each other dearly. We really thought that life
could be rebuilt. We really thought we could move on from the hurt,
and that family would be strong enough and brave enough to help us
rebuild our lives in a new way.
I’d like to tell you a little bit about my kids (they have all been so
brave through all this) so you can get an idea of how your donation
would directly support them:
Kayalynn will be spending her 17th birthday on December 31st without
her father. She is a talented singer, actress, poet, writer, composer,
pianist, and artist. She is graduating a year early and planning to
attend college. The whole world is open to her! She’s an amazing young
lady.
Malachi is 13. We should’ve celebrated his bar mitzvah this year but
unfortunately our family was falling apart. He still greatly desires
that we celebrate and so we will work this year toward preparing for
it. Unfortunately, his dad will not be there. Malachi tries hard, but
has been having a very hard time. I’d like to get him involved in
football or basketball for his mental health—whichever he would like.
Liora is 10. All she wants is to be like the other little girls that
she has grown up with and to be able to go to dance class or
gymnastics. She is also interested in singing, dancing, creating, and
kindness. She has had dreams that bother her, and she is the most
emotional of us all.
Aaron is seven. He is taking this the hardest. None of the children
were able to see their father to say goodbye. Aaron is doing a great
job adjusting to the changes in his life, but he is angry and hurt. I
think some art programs or other social activities might help him to
cope with the changes.
Avenezer is only four. He cried his eyes out when he finally realized
that Abba was dead. He may not even remember Bradley after a while and
that makes me so very sad.
Now I am left to take care of these five children with only my income,
and I really need some financial support. The prayer support has been
amazing and the gifts and meals wonderful and we are SO grateful—But
it’s been about 17 years since we had a vehicle that would fit our
whole family securely and safely, so we hope for funds to be able to
purchase one. I have a few things we can sell, but we were already
struggling financially before this happened.
God has always provided for every need I’m not concerned about
tomorrow. However, each day becomes a little bit harder and harder for
me to take. Not by my might.
I am so sorry for the loss to anyone of you who knew Bradley. If you
did know him, will you please leave a comment? I’m still not sure what
we are doing with his memorial and burial proceedings. We will not be
able to afford to take care of that without some help.
Blessings to all of you and thank you for reading and considering a donation.
