Bradley Rose Road to Recovery

Hi Everyone! As many of you have heard, our dear friend Bradley Rose suffered a stroke at the end of January. For a couple of weeks, the doctors were unsure what caused this to occur. It seemed so unlikely considering how fit and health conscious Brad is. After numerous medical tests, they determined that Brad has an Atrial Septal Defect (ASD),  which is a "hole" in the wall that separates the top two chambers of the heart. This defect allows oxygen-rich blood to leak into the oxygen-poor blood chambers in the heart. ASD is a defect in the septum between the heart's two upper chambers (atria). The septum is a wall that separates the heart's left and right sides.

This "hole" in Brad's heart caused a clot to form that traveled from his heart into his brain and lead to the stroke. Luckily, the clot will work itself out over time with medication, so brain surgery is not necessary. However, an ASD won't close itself, and Brad needs heart surgery. These surgeries have been done numerous times, so we are confident that he will come out of this better than ever and will be back on the Rumble stage or seen on your television in no time!
