To my friends, family, and community:
Along with many others, difficult financial times are falling on me in the wake of coronavirus.
I rely on face-to-face work and the gig economy, but these jobs are quickly drying up.
My main source of income comes from organizing home and work spaces, but these clients have understandably canceled. My other source of income, my design firm, also has clients putting projects on hold.
I am unfortunately in a financial situation where I can only sustain myself for one more month. I do not have a savings to fall back on because I have been working to pay down my debts. Between rent, school loans, a pet, and a myriad of other bills, it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
To be proactive, I am applying for government assistance with the hope that I qualify for SNAP (food program) and health insurance, and have put a surplus of household items up for sale. I am also applying for current high demand jobs like food delivery and other essential positions that I am qualified to do, but so far without luck.
In the meantime, to kickstart a solution to my financial situation I am offering my services as gift certificates! Please contact me [email redacted] to purchase one of the following services and we’ll discuss:
Research - $75
I will find you the perfect piece of accent furniture, art, decor etc. for your space.
Refresh - $150
I will rearrange your furnishings and decor to create a layout that works. Give your space a whole-new look and fresh feeling.
Redesign - $175
I will organize your cabinets, drawers, closets, office space – anything that can be organized!
Art Install - $225
With your input, I will curate an artwork for your space and professionally install it.
Color Consultation - $250
Picking the right paint color and product can be tricky. I’ll guide you through it, save you time and spare you costly mistakes.
I would also happily accept contributions of any amount or any other other assistance to get me through this time. Every bit counts and is greatly appreciated.
Reaching this goal of $3,500 would ensure that I can stay in my home for the next 2 months while I figure out next steps.
Thank you, and I can't wait to see everyone when the dust has settled.
So grateful to have you all in my life,
Bradley
