Bradley’s Bench and Legacy
Bradley McManus
1987 - 2020
Bradley was an amazing person who everyone loved. There won’t be one person reading this who doesn’t have a positive memory of him they can instantly recall.
His quirky sense of humour, loving nature, and dedication to his family and business will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him. It goes without saying that the world has been deprived of a loving husband, funny, intelligent and genuinely decent human being.
Bradley’s Bench
Bradley loved his hometown Deal and spending time on the beach. Walmer, Deal and the coast formed such an important part of his life.As many of you know, Bradley’s brother-in-law Duncan passed away last year and has a memorial bench on Walmer beach. Bradley often visited Duncan’s bench to bring him comfort and memories. I would like to purchase a memorial bench for Bradley so he can be near Duncan always and provide a place of memorial for friends and family to visit along the beach he loved so much.
The Bradley McManus Award
Bradley was a self-confessed nerd and excel spreadsheet lover. He could build a computer, fix any software issue, and there wasn’t a single formula he couldn’t crack. Problems with your WiFi? Call Brad. Spreadsheet not behaving? Call Brad. Need to know where the best PlayStation Black Friday package deals are at? Call Brad. Brad’s passion for computing was inspired by his father Graham and later nurtured at his school Sir Roger Manwoods, where he and I met as high-school sweethearts. I would like to purchase a cup / shield and create a Bradley McManus award to be awarded to a student each year for excellence in Computer Science.
Charity
I am so grateful for your support and can only dream of hitting the target for Bradley’s bench and award. If any additional funds are raised over the target, these will be given to local mental health charities which have helped Bradley and I during times of need.
On behalf of myself and Bradley, thank you so much in advance for your generosity.
Amy and our families x
To my darling Bradley.
You are the love of my life. I pray that you are at peace surrounded by love. Xx
UPDATE
Thanks to your incredible kindness and generosity the original target for Bradley’s bench and legacy was reached in less than 3 hours. I cannot tell you how grateful I am.
Because of you and your wonderful tributes to Bradley, I can increase the goal and donate more in his name. I am also setting up another memorial to hopefully plant a tree in a place he loved.
I couldn’t have possibly imagined this in my dreams. Thank you so so much. I am so grateful.
Amy xx
