Brad’s Fight.

Bradley Masters always had a reputation as a hard working professional surf photographer travelling the world to fulfil his ambitions. Working at any task he tackled was amazing. He was a caring father, very generous and not one to ask for assistance. He eventually domiciled himself in Bali where he continued his passion for surf photography and was able to be with his son Kai.
His success in the photographic industry was recognised by major surf magazines who published numerous of his photos.
Following the demise of the photographic industry he changed his passion to personal training in Bali, in which he was also very successful.
Brad was admitted to Siloam Hospital in Bali on Christmas Day 2020 suffering from a deep neck infection resulting in two major operations.
Brad is now currently facing the greatest fight of his life.
The surgeons have been fighting for Brad’s life for over 4 weeks. He was placed in an induced coma after facing the earlier mentioned two major neck operations.
Brad is still going to need ongoing surgeries, treatment and rehab to get back on his feet and hopefully return to a normal life.
He remains in hospital having spent most of the time in intensive care, heavily sedated and on a ventilator, due to his inability to breathe unaided and several other major life threatening complications.
As you could imagine, the financial stress on Brads family is enormous due to the insurance company rejecting the claim. The medical cost for his treatment is in excess of $75,000 and increasing daily by $3,500 as Brad needs to be in ICU possibly for a further month on a mechanical ventilator.
One suggestion was that they medevac Brad back home to Australia but this is far beyond their financial capability.
Owing to the covid pandemic restrictions they are unable to be by his side, which is difficult for any family or friends to support him, as he is in permanent isolation.
We are all praying in the hope he has the will to fight and return to a healthy state.
We are hoping to raise enough money to cover further medical treatment and associated costs.
This Go Fund Me page has been created to support Brads recovery and hopefully his rehab.
This is my way of helping Biba and support her family.
Any donation, no matter how big or small we will be eternally grateful.
