Brad was a 14 year old boy when a few days spent in Cavan general hospital with Pneumonia and Mycoplasma changed for the worse and in the Space of a few hours Brad was put into induced coma and was transferred to Temple Street Childrens hospital Dublin.
Temple Street Children’s Hospital have still found no cure nor diagnosis after an extent full amount of different tests and genetic testing all tests cane back negative for Brad. Temple Street Childrens hospital, advised us to take things day by day.
Brad is now home with a night nurse homecare package considering the seriousness of Brads condition.
Brad is on machine daily for 15 hours out of 24 hour a day as his carbon dioxide levels is still very high. The trilogy machine is keeping them at a safe level at the moment but his life is very much dependent on ventilation
We are doing our best to try and find a diagnosis or some treatment so as Brad can live the most normal life he can for a young boy now the age of 15
This is our reason for setting up this Gofundme, so as we can raise enough funds to bring Brad safely to The Department of Thoracic Medicine University hospital In Liverpool, England to see a specialist for Brad.
