Brady Bender Medical Expenses

Hello this is Jordyn & Branigan, and we are starting a Go Fund Me for our brother Brady Bender.

For those who don’t know, Brady had an accident on Wednesday evening, March 27th where he slipped and fell and hit his head very hard. This caused him to sleep outside over night. His friends found him the next morning and immediately called 911 and was rushed by ambulance to Dickinson. Brady had severe hypothermia where his body was down to 80 degrees. The doctors stated he is very lucky to still be with us, and we are so thankful he is He spent most of the morning/day at Chi St Alexius in Dickinson where the doctors and nurses worked hard to warm his body back up. His kidney function was the biggest worry, along with the severe frost bite on his 4 extremities.

The doctors called in a specialist to look at the frost bite and they decided to fly Brady to the Regions Hospital Burn Center in St. Paul, MN. Brady and my dad flew with the ambulance crew yesterday late afternoon, and my mom flew separately and met them there since only one was allowed to accompany him on the plane. Brady is continually getting treatment for his frost bite. His hands and feet are all in very rough shape, with his right foot & toes being the one most worried about.

We aren’t sure how long Brady will be in MN being treated, but it sounds like he will be there for a few weeks. He is in extreme amounts of pain and has a long road to recovery, but in Brady fashion he has been making jokes and we got to see his bubbly personality even through all of the pain.

Brady just started his new general manager job with the Spur Bar and has yet to get insurance for himself. We have had so many people reach out wanting to help, and this would be the best way possible. If you are able please donate to help cover medical expenses. Any amount helps. The air flight alone was extremely expensive and that isn’t including any ambulance rides or treatments in either hospital. We also plan to have some sort of golf scramble/supper/silent auction this summer to help raise money as well.
