Braeburn Lodge Care Home

Hi my name is Cheryl and I work at Braeburn Lodge care home in Market Deeping, Lincolnshire.

My partner and I are running the Great Eastern Run on October 15th 2023 and would like to raise money to purchase one or more nursing chairs for our residents. The chairs cost around £800 each and having more of these chairs would give us the opportunity of allowing our residents on the nursing and dementia unit have a better quality of life enjoying activities within the care home and giving them more social interaction. At Braeburn lodge it's our job and privelage to provide the best quality of care to our residents which we do across all sectors of the care home. If running a half marathon gives our residants more social time and interaction around the home then I'm willing to go through the 13 weeks of training leading up to the half marathon and completing the half marathon itself. The smile on the residents and family's faces will be completely worth it!
