Bragan missal acquisition
Donation protected
The Bragan rite is the liturgical use proper to the archdiocese of Braga (Portugal). The rite saw a revival in the beginning of the 20th century, having been revised during that period, but began to die out as a result of the litrgical reforms that followed the Second Vatican Council.
I am the author of a blog about the Bragan rite. Its aim is to divulge this mostly forgotten rite and make its texts accessible to those interested in liturgical matters.
A 1920s edition of the Bragan missal has become available and I am trying to raise funds to purchase it. The missal will serve to make a quality digitised version which will then be made available online.
