Bragg's Factory Diner Needs You!

Bragg's Factory Diner has been feeding Arizona delicious diner-style vegan/vegetarian food since March of 2013. Since we've opened our doors we have met some of the most incredible people, hired the best staff any restaurant could ask for, and watched Grand Avenue start to blossom into this beautiful and supportive neighborhood. However, keeping our doors open hasn't been as easy as we let on - in fact, we've hit a rough patch in our journey.
We opened Bragg's beacuse we knew there was a real need for vegan/vegetarian food, especially breakfast, in Phoenix. We tossed around the idea, developed some recipes and found the location; within just a month we had our doors open! Everything up to this point has been 100% D.I.Y. We have never had an investor, or any of the typical funding people have when they get into the restaurant business (and let me tell you, there is a reason people have those things!) We were incredibly lucky to have found a space with equipment we could use that also allowed us to create the vision we wanted to express on a modest budget.
Summers are always difficult for small businesses in Phoenix, and we're no exception to that. After a string of hard luck and a whole lot of bad timing, we've found ourselves on the verge of closing our doors. Within the last two months we've replaced and repaired several essential pieces of kitchen equipment, and as a result, have succumbed to the debilitating costs. Without any savings behind us, and no capital to bank on, it's been nearly impossible to catch up. Despite our hardships, we've managed to gain the attention of several publications, both locally and nationally and have a few awards to put under our belt.
We feel that Bragg's has become an important part of Grand Avenue, as well as, the vegan/vegetarian community in Phoenix. We hope that you feel the same way and will help support this campaign. Thank you!
