- Hi my name is Tenisha Hunter. On Friday 7/31/23. I brought my 10year old daughter in for numbness and tingling sensations on her right hand and right leg. I have came into both E.R.’s and URGENT Cares many times in the past year. Regarding symptoms that could have been related to these tumors. The sensation does come and go. She had no actual pain. NeAubree is 4 out of my 5 children. Those who know me personally. Know that I take my kids in for any and every little pain any discomfort. MRI was done after all the previous visit’s where blood work was only done. They found tumors on her spine and brain. The tumor was in a complicated place, being that it was under the bone. Everything started happening so fast. NeAubree had surgery on 8/3/23. The surgery was 6hrs long. It consist of them removing the top of her spine. To get to the tumor. We have a long road to recovery. I just want to be here with her at the hospital to support her every step of recovery. With me having all my other obligations to fulfill as well. This is tough for me emotionally, mentally , and physically. By the grace of God. In 39 years, I have never had a surgery. I have never been put to sleep under any anesthesia. Never had to have any hard pain medicine. Never had a foley. I don’t know what she is feeling or going through. That tears me down. I need to be here every step of every moment of her recovery. My baby only 10years old. Hope that you will find it in your hearts to help me help my baby girl recover and get back to walking, running, dancing, doing Tik toks and being the happy GREAT kid that she is.
