Brain Cancer Bills for Zamora Moon

Zamora Moon was a beautiful little girl who battled valiantly against a horrific terminal brain tumor known as DIPG.
Zamora survived so long because of the extensive efforts her mother made in an attempt to save her life. They moved from California to London (for treatment options the US didn't offer) but ultimately returned to California for Zamora's final days. She tried EVERYTHING. Although doctors gave her months to live, she fought a grueling battle that lasted two years until her death on 6/18/2017 at just 9 years old.
Zamora is now at rest, but her mother Marisa doesn't get that same relief. Not only does she suffer the grief of dealing with a child who passed away slowly over the last few years, but she also endures the relentless hospitals that still hound Marisa for payment over Zamora's treatments -- treatments that did NOT save her life. Marisa receives calls and mailed notices on a DAILY basis which keep the wound of Zamora's passing open and unable to heal.
Marisa has exhausted all of her credit cards and has even taken out loans to keep up with the medical bills. She's a single mother and elementary school teacher who has been struggling immensely to stay strong to keep supporting her other two young daughters throughout it all. The past few years have taxed her out emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially. The weight has just gotten worse and she REALLY needs help.
Our fundraiser goal will put this debt to rest and allow Marisa to finally start the healing process from losing Zamora so she can focus on raising Zamora's sisters and be the amazing elementary school teacher that she is. Donations will cover all debt and assist in family recovery.
