Brain surgery - Ependymoma tumor removal

Tayden is a 16 year old boy who was first diagnosed with a Grade 2 Ependymoma in 2018 when he had just turned 11.

He had surgery followed by 33 rounds of radiation. He had a recurrence in Jan 2023, whereby he underwent surgery followed up by 31 rounds of radiation. There was a few complications including seizures, swallowing, walking and problems with speech.

In August 2023, a routine MRI showed that the tumor was back.

This fundraising is to assist with the surgery that he will now require and for his rehabilitation afterwards.
