Please Help me, I just want to be normal again. ;(

Hello my name is Regina Olivas and I am raising money for the travel expenses, hotel costs, and for further medical procedures needed in regards to the Brain tumor found. I need to have Brain Surgery.

Read my story to understand why I have to ask for help and why I have no income.

I have been a truck driver since June of 2015. I love my job. I love that I provide a service for our country, for the people. I drive all 48 Continental States and I love getting to see this beautiful country, new and old.

On Feb 25, 2023 I was driving in Montana coming out of Billings heading in the direction of my next load. I hit an ice patch along with high winds. I ended up Jackknifed. My older son who lives about 200 miles north came to get me, and he took me to the closet hospital. Workers comp kicks in and then they began to refuse CT's and other requests from my treating Dr. They sent me for what is called an IME in there state of Illinois. After only upper extremities were examined and tested by my treating Dr. We were told in the report I can return to work. My Dr said no way they haven't even approved some of the test and they denied exams and treatments. You can't return to work with these other problems. I have sciatica and nerve damage in my arms and leg trimmers also nerve damage. WC won't acknowledge. WC stopped paying me in July 2023. I have continued with tests and treatments. In the mists of all the exams they have discovered I have a mass (soft cell brain damage) to the left side of my head. They think I hit my head or jerked it so hard it jolted my brain. WC won't acknowledge. I do have an attorney but that still has not helped my case.

A second CT with dye was done Feb of this year and they found a .7cm Meningioma at the right posterior Falx. (Tumor). I have been told that I would have better treatment in California and I have other family there for help afterwards.

I have to have the tumor removed. It is likely the cause of some of my other issues that have rapidly been effecting my cognitive functions.

The blessing of the accident and the persistence of my Dr is the tumor was found. It is still early and I can have a higher chance of full recovery and live the rest of life normal again.

Dr finally (after I begged) gave me a light duty work release with many restrictions. No one will hire me. I found out I am considered "A Liability".
