Brain Tumour Treatment
Donation protected
Since diagnosis of a brain stem tumour in Sep 12 and six weeks of intensive radiotherapy to my brain followed by two full courses of chemotherapy my condition has deteriorated to the point of severely limited mobility and now I am housebound and in a wheelchair- despite managing to work and receive statutory mobility allowances from DWP the options on private treatment and the latest wheelchair 'robot' technology (Tek RMD) the costs involved to make the quality of life I could experience so much better, are prohibitive
Therefore this is a fund proposal to achieve part of the amount required (wheelchair circa $18k immunotherapy varies £50-100k subject to confirmation)
All proposals / ideas / donations gratefully received
Having been a fit and active 40 year old that played sports every week prior to this diagnosis it is a very dramatic impact in life but I am trying to maintain some semblance of normality as far as possible
Many thanks for taking the time to read
Regards Paul
