Recovery Fund for Megan Suder

My name is Courtney, and I am starting this fundraiser for my brother, Nathan, and his wife Megan.

Megan is a Registered Nurse in a busy hospital, constantly taking care of everyone who walks through the door. She gives 100% to every patient she sees, and now it is time for us to give 100% to help her.

And so, the story goes, Megan met my brother. My brother came home one day and told me that he met the one, and he was going to marry her. He told me how much I would like her, and it was perfect, but then everything happened.

In November, Megan got very sick, and doctors tried just about every test out there to help her, but nothing came from it. My brother couldn’t work most days, so he could make sure Megan was safe, and that someone was there to take care of their dog, Moo who was also facing medical issues at the time.

Even when all of this was happening, and the strain of the unknown, one thing that stood true was their little family was never going to give up on each other.

Finally, we are to the present day, when Megan got her diagnosis of Chiari Malformation which is a condition within the brain and skull. I won’t expose you to the details, but it is scary and explains months of symptoms that kept her from being able to work (even though somedays she shouldn’t have worked, she still showed up to help people).

As of right now, Megan will not be able to work for months due to the brain surgery she will be undergoing, and my brother will have to be off work to care for her as she recovers, and after such a long, scary journey now they must worry about finances.

Please help them provide for themselves, their dog Moo, and their home as they go on this uncertain and scary journey together.

These are two people that would do anything for anyone, please help us get them back on their feet and focus on what is important, getting Megan healthy again.
