We desperately need your help to continue saving these innocent lives. Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue is a house rabbit rescue. We are a second chance rescue taking in rabbits other shelters would euthanize due to medical or behavioral issues. We pay all the medical bills to rehabilitate the rabbits, spay or neuter them, microchip them and then find them forever homes. We have been in operation as a non-profit charity for 32 years in Phoenix, Arizona. We built a shelter where volunteers help feed, groom and play with the rabbits and a thrift store where we raise money for day-to-day operating costs of the shelter. In March of 2017 we took in 38 rabbits from a hoarding situation assisted by the City of Chandler Police Department and the Arizona Humane Society. All 38 rabbits had health issues that required amputations, eye removals, dental issues and various surgeries to bring them back to good health. All of those unexpected vet bills went on our credit card. We have cut costs to bare minimum and are currently not accepting any more rabbits. Without your help with funding we cannot help as our credit card is maxed out. We need $23,000 to pay it off, so we can continue our work saving animals in our community. The bunnies thank you. We so appreciate anything you can give.
