Hey!
I'm Daniel.
Me and my lovely partner Zoe are chasing a big dream together. We have decided to move 1hr and a half across the state to open a brand new GYM !
Many of you know I owned Crossfit Bothell in Bothell, WA for the past 4 years. Our lease for that space was up at the end of October and we were unable to stay there. We were also unsuccessful in finding gym space in the area that would keep our community together. Due to that we moved our gym community to another great Crossfit gym a few miles down the road and were able to keep everyone together.
In that process we knew we wanted to open another gym someday soon. We knew we would have to move out of the area to do so. We looked for months and finally found a space in a place we would like to live where we can be successful in building a brand new community and culture at.
We have secured a lease for the space and will for the first time be moving our lives together to go chase this dream.
The start up costs to secure a gym space and move all of our equipment an hour and half away, along with all of our personal belongings... is a big financial burden we are asking for support on to make happen.
Asking for this kind of help is not easy, but we are moving forward with this crowdfunding idea for a start up business and want to be able to give value back for anyone who is willing to help support this cause.
What we get to do in a gym is be a part of changing peoples lives. Being involved in a coaching experience in the pursuit of physical development goes far beyond simply that. It is a growth opportunity, a personal development experience that actually takes place for everyone involved.
Everyone's life is changed in the process.
Your support goes directly to the two of us with moving expenses and start up costs and will be invested directly into the gym. We will not have coaches, staff, or even gym members in April and will spend months getting people in the door to create this new community.
We are really excited for this journey. The risk, uncertainty, and challenge it will bring is viewed as a growth opportunity for us... and we are committed to making it all work!
