To help Brandan Pellow and family

Update: Brandan was taken off life support and is now officially gone to be with his loved ones in heaven. Amongst all this sadness and devastation, we are filled with gratitude due to all the support and donations from the community, it is unbelievable and I cannot thank anyone enough for helping make this life altering tragedy a little bit easier to deal with. We do not have funeral arrangements set in stone yet but as soon as we do I will be sure to update again. I know everyone is concerned for Rosanna but she will need time to grieve with Sarah and is surrounded by close friends and family. Update: I am heartbroken to say that after many tests and brain scans, Brandan is declared braindead and due to the Cortex and brain stem being the most damaged areas, Brandan will not be coming home to us. He is an organ donor so he is on life support to keep his organs viable for transplant. They have recipients for all but one organ and will be undergoing the transplant process on Monday. Myself and the family are overwhelmed with all the kindness, support, love and calls we have received but I ask you kindly to contact Nikki Bourdage (Nikki Lynn on Facebook) so Rosie can focus her time and energy on Brandan and Sarah during this devastating time. Update:

Brandan is out of surgery, it went well and his vitals are stable. They are going to slowly take him out of sedation and wait for him to wake up.

The doctor said he is a very lucky boy to still be here with us today....the blade was a hair away from puncturing the main artery in his heart....I will update again as soon as I know more

Rosanna Law and Jonathan Pellow’s 19-year-old son, and Sarah Pellows very loved brother, Brandan Pellow was critically injured in the early hours of July 30, 2024.

He was stabbed in the chest and was taken to SAH where he underwent surgery to repair his heart. The surgery went well but he is still in a medically induced coma and was sent to Sudbury where he is being cared for by a heart specialist. His vitals are stable, and he will be going in for another surgery this evening (July 31, 2024) to repair his sternum before they try to wake him. We are hopeful that he will pull though this but even when he is in the clear, there will be a lot of work to get him rehabilitated. We are unsure how long he was without a pulse and because of this we do not know what long term issues may arise, and there is no way to tell until he is awake what damage has been done. During this time, Rosanna has had to take time off from her 3 jobs to be by her baby boys side. As we all know, times are hard enough, and this could be financially crippling for any family. I am setting up this GOFUNDME page to offset the financial burden and stress this may cause her, so she can focus on Brandan’s recovery and making sure his sister Sarah is getting the support she needs through this traumatic time. The last thing she needs to add to her plate of worries is how she will pay not only her everyday bills, but also any medical bills and prescriptions.

For those of you that know Rosie, you are already aware of what a kind, generous, hardworking, independent and loving person she is and that her kids are her world.

I will be updating as we get updates, I apologize to anyone that was not informed immediately but yesterday was a very long and traumatic day.I know times are hard but even the smallest amount will help this beautiful family focus on healing and if you are unable to donate that is ok, I do ask that you please send your prayers their way and share this with your family and friends.
