Branden "B" Lampman

Branden was the son of Stacey VanTreese and Steve Lampman. He was the brother of Careesha Lampman and Ashley (Alan) Sherwood.
Branden was not your average 36 year old man. He had a very close relationship with his parents, nieces, nephews and family in general. Branden would eat, sleep and breathe for those he loved. He never made plans of his own but stayed busy watching all of the children in his life excel in extra-curricular activities. He never missed an event he was invited to. He loved all sports - especially golf, fast-pitch softball and cornhole. He played in every tournament he knew of. Branden was a lover of all music and was one of those people that never complained over which station was playing. He had a cane corso, Luna, that will miss him dearly as she was his baby.
On November 3, 2023, Branden had just finished work for Osmose Utilities Services as a laborer. He packed his bags and hit the road headed home from Levittown to Harrison Valley, PA. Branden was on the PA Turnpike in a construction zone when his Chevy Sonic broke down while in the lane of traffic. The area of construction that Branden was in is called a "cattle chute." This is where the lanes shift and there is no shoulder to pull-off for emergencies. When Branden's vehicle became disabled, he pulled off as best he could. Branden was on the phone with his Dad moments prior to the accident. Branden, while inside of his vehicle, was struck by a dump truck. Branden's vehicle was almost unrecognizable, crushing the rear end of his car up to the dashboard. Branden lost his life due to a car malfunction in the worst place possible.
I am Cody Metcalf, one of Branden's cousins and lifelong friends. We spent nearly everyday of our childhood together and to this day, we were together more often than not. Branden and I worked for the same company more times than I can count and we followed each other everywhere. I made this gofundme to help his parents lay him to rest. Branden was the most selfless, caring and trustworthy friend I have ever had. He will be missed by all that knew him. The money raised will go towards travel expenses, funeral costs and to host a celebration of life in Branden's memory.
Branden is not yet home and his services are incomplete. More information will be posted in the following days. Thank you everyone.
