Moving back to MN

Hello there,

Branden was diagnosed with Stage 4-Metastatic Melanoma Skin Cancer a year ago in January 2023.

He has been through a few different treatments throughout this last year that have helped him manage.

This past late December though, he started feeling more pain in his body, having trouble moving around, keeping food down, and unable to work, etc.

He was brought in for a PET scan in the beginning of January 2024.

They found that his Cancer is progressing aggressively and has added more tumors throughout his whole body..making it harder to manage them all..

He now will be starting a new treatment of a combination of Immunotherapies- Opdevo and Yervoy. With this combination, it is suppose to be aggressive against the cancer and help relieve some of the pain he is feeling because of the tumors..

Our doctor is not giving up hope, even though it is stage 4 and Non-curable, there are many options for Branden to help manage his cancer if this treatment does not work.

We just have to keep trucking through. Brandens stubbornness won’t let him back down anyways! He has been trying to stay positive through all of this. 

With all that being said, we have decided to move back home to MN. It’s bout dang time.. <3 

We are hoping to be back before the end of March this year.

His doctor is getting a care team for us set up in MN so he should have a smooth transition treatment wise. We will know more details in the coming weeks.

As we all know, the world is an expensive place and moving is a hassle especially across country.

We decided to start a GoFundMe because it’s going to be financially troubling moving home, getting set up in MN, but we need Branden to be with family and have more support all around.

We both aren’t great at asking for help when we need it but we’re asking now, a little goes a long way, if you can’t donate that’s okay, please help share across your socials.
