Brandi's Battle: Trying to Conceive

My name is Brandi, I am 26 years old and was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) when I was 19. While many have a mild case of PCOS, I happen to have a severe one. In a nutshell, PCOS causes infertility and many other health problems. My horomones are completely backwards which causes my reproductive organs not to ovulate, or release an egg for fertilization. I am unable to try the natural remedies of tracking ovulation within my cycles because I am lucky to have 1-3 menstrual cycles per year. I have been trying to conceive for 6 years now because I was told at 19 the older I get, the more difficult it will be to not only conceive, but to carry a baby full term. I am currently on medication to help, but it seems the odds are not in my favor. I am out of options that are within my means at this point, and am seeking help from others. The money I raise will go solely to fertility treatments. The most devastating news you can recieve as a woman is being told that you can not get pregnant without very expensive help when your whole purpose is to create life. I am very desperate for help, and whether or not I succeed on here or not, I hope to encourage others with this same disease to not stop fighting, and to use all the resources you have available to you. I just want to be a mother, and I thank you from the deepest depths of my heart for your contribution.
