Brandon Delano’s Cremation Funding
Donation protected
Hello, My name is Chloee Delano
I feel bad asking for this as I know it’s right after the holidays but Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of options. My father Brandon Delano passed away on 12/26/24 the day after Christmas at Johnson City Medical Center in Tennessee. He fell Ill earlier this year with acute organ failure and liver cancer, treatment wasn’t possible due to his living status. He has been homeless for the last five years and it wasn’t until recently in the later part of his life we became closer. Brandon nor I have the funds to provide any sort of funeral/cremation services. I'm a working low income mother with a small special needs toddler, my son Silas, and I am at a loss as to what I can do.
He does not qualify for any donation centers due to his disease and medical status. He also doesn’t qualify for any community based cremation options because he does have a single living family member, which is myself. We cannot move forward with any kind of services until I come up with the money. Unfortunately this also means until then he is stuck in the hospital's holding. The hospital wont allow me his belongings, His fingerprints, His death certificate or for me to lay him to rest until I do. So I am out of options without any other living family member to help aside from coming on here to ask you. If you cannot donate I still appreciate the time you take to read and share this link. I understand with this being right after the holidays it is difficult so any amount donated is hugely appreciated to help me with my father’s cremation.
Thank you, -Chloee and Silas
UPDATE
I can not begin to express how thankful I am to see everyone helping support my family and I. I have edited the goal since I was able to find a funeral service that fit our budget. He will be going Tri-City Cremations out of VA. We made enough money to pay for it in full. Thank you to everyone I knew and didn’t know personally. This was a difficult thing to post but seeing how much everyone cared even though it was during the holidays was amazing to actively witness. Has blown me away truly. I don’t believe thank you is enough but right now it’s all I have.
