Brandon Major Cano needs our help!

Hi everyone my name is Robert Moreno. I am reaching out for help for this young man that I have known for over twenty years. His name is Brandon Major Cano and he is Mia's, my daughters cousin. This pandemic, as we all are aware of has devastated many lives in many different ways. Brandon fell ill a couple of months ago and finally after the pain was to much went to the hospital and as we all know the first question asked of you is "do you have insurance?" This is why he hesitated going for care because of the lack of health insurance. Brandon, because of other financial obligations has not been able to afford health insurance for himself , his wife Lucy and their son Little Brandon. We all know this is a very common situation and especially right now with things just getting back to normal so to speak.

Brandon went to the hospital ER on two separate occasions and was given a prescription for medication and told his problem was stones and that once he passed them he would be ok on both occasions. Well the stones never made their way out and caused a major internal infection that ended up putting Brandon on life support in the ICU. Liver, Kidney, Lungs have all been affected and treatments are slow in taking effect due to the amount of time he had the infection. Doctors say he will require dialysis at a minimum. We still don't know what the future holds but we all are staying positive.

I decided to set this GoFundMe to hopefully help relieve Brandon's family with the mounting hospital bills that are being incurred and will continue to incur. We all are staying positive that Brandon will prevail and will be able to go home one day soon. Little Brandon has 100% support from his family and extended family as he heads to his first year at UTEP and will walk on and pursue his desire to play football here at home and make mom and dad proud.
