Brandon Schwabel Medical Expenses

PLEASE HELP THIS FAMILY AS THEIR CHILD IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE - DONATE IF POSSIBLE OR SHARE IF YOU FEEL INCLINED.
Many of us drop our children off at school, bus stops, sporting events, shopping malls, and movies every day. We always hope/pray that no harm will come to them in our absence. The Schwabel family is now living every parent's worst nightmare.
On October 29, 2019 Jill dropped her twin sons Connor and Brandon off at their school bus stop on her way to work. Within minutes she received a phone call from Connor screaming "Come back! We've been hit by a car!"
When Jill and her husband, Mike, rushed to the scene they found that there had been an auto accident in the intersection causing one vehicle to careen onto the sidewalk hitting both boys. Connor was immediately knocked unconscious and woke up to find his brother pinned between the car and a block wall. He and other children struggled to get Brandon free.
Medics arrived on the scene and quickly rushed both boys to UMC Trauma Center. Although many news reports came out that the injuries were minor and non-life threatening, this is far from the truth.
Connor was lucky. After being knocked unconscious and receiving a concussion, he suffered broken ribs and a broken collarbone and was released from the hospital the same day.
Brandon was not as lucky. Having been pinned between the car and a block wall, he sustained significant internal injuries. He received 12 staples in his head, suffered a punctured lung, lacerated spleen, lacerated kidney and lacerated liver, bruised heart, broken collarbone, four broken ribs, two cracks in his pelvis, and several fractured bones in his spinal column. He was rushed into emergency surgery as he was bleeding internally from his spleen. The doctors believed they had stopped the bleeding and said Brandon was stable.
The next morning Brandon's lung collapsed and he was fighting to breathe. With an amazing team of doctors, Brandon overcame this challenge. Within hours his blood pressure dropped dramatically, he turned white as a ghost and a team of doctors rushed him into emergency surgery once again only to find that his spleen had burst back open and he was profusely bleeding internally.
Brandon now has an infection in his lungs, has a tracheotomy, and is attached to machines to help him breathe.
This is an amazing, hard working family and they do not have the resources to cover the expenses involved in this accident. They want to stay by their sons side and support him without concern for medical and household expenses. We need to make sure that this boy receives the best treatment possible. Please help if you can by donating or sharing this. Anything and everything you can do would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
