Brandon "Sonny" Castlin

On Thursday, November 16th our family's lives changed forever. We lost a Son, a Father, a Brother, a Cousin, a Nephew, a heartbeat that helped hold our family together. We loss Brandon "Sonny" Castlin. Brandon was gunned down at his home during a robbery. The robbers stole his car, his belongings, and most devastating of all; his life. This tragedy occurred 6 days after his youngest son Sonny was born. The ruthless act left 4 children fatherless, his significant other (Ashley) heartbroken, and a family devastated.

He was kind, funny, and full of life. If you ever met Brandon you would remember his infectious personality, he would be determined to get a smile out of you at all costs.

Brandon loved his family and took pride in raising his kids. On weekends you would find him at the park watching the boys play, coaching from the sidelines. So involved everyone could hear him. With his family, Brandon was the sole provider and took pride in that. He never asked for a handout, if anything he was the first person to give you his last if you needed it.

Our family is broken by the loss, there are no words to express how heartbroken and devastated we are to lose Brandon's light. No parent should ever have to bury their 34-year-old son, nor a mother tell her 3 sons under 10 that their father is never coming home or a daughter that her protector is gone.

As a family, we are asking for your support to assist Ashley, the kids, and the family with expenses as well as try and create a reward fund to assist with finding the heartless cowards that took him away from us. Our family is forever broken, but could you please help us in getting some form of justice and closure from this horrible tragedy?
