Brandon's Top Surgery!!

My name is Brandon, and I’m 16 years old. My transition began quite early, starting when I came out at around age 12. I knew that I had always felt masculine, always thought of myself as masculine. Once I learned about what being trans was, I came out to my family and friends, and while I did have many, many issues, I found an amazing source of support that I wouldn’t trade for anything.

It was a battle to get to where I am today. It took around 3 years and a LOT of convincing to start my transition medically. I started testosterone on July 24th, 2019, which means it has been a while. I understand that some of you may believe that I’m “too young” to know this about myself, and I respect that. However, I’ve been transitioning for 4 years at this point, and by doing so I feel more connected to myself than I ever have.

The next step for me is top surgery- a procedure that would allow me to feel more comfortable in my own skin. I would love nothing more than to have a body that I feel genuinely belongs to me. Usually, I wouldn’t ask for help from other people — I’m only making this GoFundMe because due to having to pay from my pockets, it would take quite a long while to raise this money by myself with what I make from working part-time. I am currently putting all of my earnings towards whatever I can, but it unfortunately won’t be enough and I can’t cover everything alone. By no means do I expect to reach my goal or expect every person who sees this to donate or share, but any and all donations/shares are so greatly appreciated! I love all of you, thank you for taking the time to read to my story, and hopefully my long held dream can come true.
