Brandon Brave Fights Leukemia
Donation protected
On August 10, 2017, Brandon was diagnosed with a high risk form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia, which was later determined as being refractory.
Brandon has had many complications, one including a spinal cord injury following one of his spinal taps, which led to surgery (lumbar laminectomy), following the surgery, the surgeon said there was a very high chance of him having no function in his legs. Brandon proved him wrong, and is gaining more function in his legs day by day.
Having to deal with this complication, his leukemia is very aggressive and has not reached remission, which is needed in order to have a safe and effective bone marrow transplant. He is currently enrolled in a clinical trial in hopes of getting into remission.
This GoFundMe was set up to help the family deal with the overwhelming costs associated with Brandon’s care and treatment. Your donation, whatever it may be, will help tremendously.
More than anything, we ask for prayers, for healing, wisdom, and strength, for Brandon and his family.
