Brandon’s Financial Burdens from 9 Surgeries

Hi, my name is Julia, and I am making this GFM to help my partner, Brandon, who is in the hospital right now. This past surgery was his 9th surgery. His first surgery was back in 2019 when he was in a skateboarding accident where he had to get the entire left side of his skull removed. From then on he had 2 skull replacements, and this is now his third. On October third of this month, Brandon and I spent the day from 3am in the ER because he spiked a fever of 102 degrees. After every testing he could possibly have done, they determined he developed an infection under his artificial skull. He needed to get the entire thing removed again, and start his entire journey from 2019 all over again.

All of these surgeries throughout the past 4 years have had a major impact on his mental and physical health, as well as his financial well-being. He has been living off of credit cards since his accident. Denied SSD. Denied jobs because of surgeries. Behind the scenes, we are fighting for him, but he could really use this help.

Brandon is a kind, loving, talented, smart, and beautiful person. I know this GFM would really make his time at the hospital a lot less depressing. Having to start all over again has not been easy on him.
