Brandon's Golf Career

Hello, my name is Brandon Nelson,

Throughout the years of my golf career, there has always been the dream of becoming a professional golfer. Through many years of hard work and dedication to the game, I have realized that it is time to further my game and give my dream a chance to become a reality.

I grew up in Litchfield, MN, where I started golfing at a very young age, watching my brothers and parents play the game I came to love. With growing up, the dream was always to become as good of a golfer as my brothers and to one day be able to beat them, and that day came faster than I'm sure they would've hoped. I played three sports in high school, but my passion for golf brought me to Bemidji State University, where I continued my career in golf, playing at a higher level as well as getting my degree in Finance along the way. With going to Bemidji State, my game excelled and got better over the five years I was at BSU; thanks to the higher level of competition and a fantastic coach and support from my family, I was able to achieve goals I never thought would be imaginable. I won one collegiate event and placed top-10 in 5 of 8 events in the 2021-22 season, as well as getting 1st Team

All-Conference honors in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons.

For the past three summers, I have been working at Bemidji Town and Country club working with outstanding members and fantastic staff, and without these members and coworkers' support and push of what I want to do in my career, I would not have decided to make a move down to Scottsdale.

This coming Winter, I will be moving down to Scottsdale, Arizona, where I will be working to excel in my game even more and compete in tournaments throughout Arizona, California, and Florida. With moving and playing in these tournaments, there come expenses. Tournament fees, housing fees, and travel costs are why I have started this GoFundMe with all these expenses; my goal is to raise $6,000 to help pay for tournaments and travel costs. I am asking for your help in my career to pay for these things and allow me to chase my dreams and continue my golf career.
