Henry became unwell in September last year with a cough and facial swelling. This went on for 4 weeks. He was seen by walk in centres, doctors and in ED but was sent home. Henrys parents took him back to ED on the 6th October, he had an X-ray on his chest and they found a mass.
Henry went straight to QMC where he was diagnosed on the 16th October with T cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. A rare form of non Hodgkins, which is aggressive. The cancer had also spread to his liver.
Henry is on 6 months of intense aggressive chemotherapy which injects into his spine most weeks. His treatment will continue for 3 years after this to maintain his cancer.
Henry had sepsis in December from a side effect of chemotherapy, which has left him needing a stoma to be able to get through his treatment.
Holly, Henry’s Mum worked as a nurse prior to this heartbreaking news. She now cares for Henry full time.
I will be so so grateful to anyone that can help me raise money for Henry and his family to be able to make this journey for Henry a little easier.
