Brave it with PJ through his fight against Leukemia

It comes with great shock and extreme sadness to share this news with everyone, but we do so in support of a family in need, Mel and Troy (dear friends and family to many) amazing parents to 6, took their youngest, our bright and beautiful little PJ to the hospital on Saturday, 30th of March with body pains and high fevers and was shortly after, formally diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

This has left everyone in utter disbelief and is already weighing heavily on everyone surrounding PJ, and not to mention this bright, loving and smiley little boy is currently in a world of pain already and will have a crazy journey ahead of him.

Mel and Troy have been by his side from the first moment he was brought into the hospital, and they intend to be there every step of the way. Unfortunately that will result in being unable to commit to full time work as little PJ’s treatment will be a minimum of 2 years, with intense chemotherapy treatment and several blood transfusions, and currently awaiting further diagnostic testing. But as life moves on around them this means endless medical bills and living expenses that are sure to be coming their way bringing great financial hardship upon the family.

Worrying about money should never be added to the already high-stress level and trauma of having a sick child. Family and friends want to attempt to elevate some of that financial stress through this go fund me account.
