Brayden The Brave

This is Brayden Oliver Bourque. He was born on November 27th, 2019. 10 Weeks premature. Everything about him is perfect...except for his breathing. He has weak lungs. He's been through countless xrays, ultrasounds, and blood transfusions. He has been intubated, extubated, and re-intubated (breathing tube) 4 times. He just had diaphragm plication surgery on February 12th, 2020 to pull his diaphragm down to keep his lungs open. Unfortunately, his lungs collapsed for the third time 2 days post-op. We have no answers for what's wrong with this poor little man. The next step will possibly be a tracheostomy, meaning he gets a tube surgically placed in his neck/windpipe, being temporary or permanent, depending on what's wrong with him. Please help us. We are going on 80 days of being in the NICU and there doesnt seem to be an end in site.
