Bearcat for Braydin Lewis
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that I share the passing of a fellow hockey player. Braydin Lewis was a courageous young man and in 2022 was diagnosed with Gioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Last night, Saturday April 15th, Braydin succumbed to this battle while surrounded by his loved ones.
Braydin, lovingly referred to as B, always gave and never asked anything in return regardless of the circumstances. He had a gifted and magnetic personality that transcended beyond the rink proven by the vast diversity of people who simply referred to him as “friend.” He prioritized the most valuable thing anyone can give, time, with people and always delivered his best efforts.
As an outstanding athlete whose unwavering character, well beyond his youthful age of nineteen, reflected his performance both on and off the ice. Braydin generously gave back to our hockey community by mentoring one of our very own Bearcat athletes. He will be dearly missed but his contributions will never be forgotten.
Please keep Braydin, Kristen, Adam and Corbin in your prayers. Together, we hope to provide the Lewis Family with strength, comfort and confidence, as well as blessings to help heal and guide them through this difficult journey.
“Bearcat for Braydin” is asking you to join our campaign to help this remarkable young man’s family through this challenging time. All money raised will be donated directly to the family in an effort to assuage some of the anguish faced. Please reflect on this difficult situation and consider making a donation as a form of support to B’s family.
