Helping my Grandpa Jorge

As of friday April 24th, 2020 my grandpa has been in the ICU at the Omnihospital in Ecuador with COVID-19 like symptoms. He’s currently intubated and receiving treatment. The current cost of having him in the ICU there is $3000 per day. We are doing all we can to continue his treatment but the doctors say he may need to be in the ICU up to 15 days. We are attempting to work with the hospital and his insurance to try to lessen the payments but as of now we are paying out of pocket. We ask if you are able to help in anyway please do so, we would greatly appreciate it as a family.

A partir del viernes 24 de abril de 2020, mi abuelo ha estado en la UCI en el Omnihospital de Ecuador con síntomas similares a COVID-19. Actualmente está intubado y recibe tratamiento. El costo actual de tenerlo en la UCI es de $ 3000 por día. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para continuar su tratamiento, pero los médicos dicen que puede necesitar estar en la UCI hasta 15 días. Estamos tratando de trabajar con el hospital y su seguro para tratar de disminuir los pagos, pero hasta ahora no nos han dado respuesta.
