Bre needs a wheelchair

*For anyone who has not checked updates. I have changed the goal as I have the amount needed, the new amount will help me get extras and cover taxes*
Hi, my name is Breanne and this is one of the toughest posts of my life. Asking for help isn't hard, I am autistic and have ADHD as well as other mental health issues that have helped me learn to lean on others for my entire life. However, the time has come in the past few months that I recognize where my physical health has gone.
Just this past month I finally saw a cardiologist about the possibility* of me having Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). It's a very common disorder, however my symptoms are quite severe. Within my first visit I immediately was soft diagnosed with Dysautonomia, noting I most likely at least have syncope (a form of dysautonomia, that causes my blood pressure to drop as soon as I stand, at random moments and intervals). At this moment we are still seeking answers, however what we do know is, that despite everything I have been doing for months, all things my cardiologist and PCP have requested of me, has not been nearly enough to dent my symptoms.
*Update! As of 11/14/22 I have been officially diagnosed with Postural Orthosaciatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)!!!!
For over three months now I have been doing everything to alleviate my symptoms, only to go in and immediately be told I have severe swelling in my legs, and that compression knee high socks at a medical grade 20-30 mmhg was not enough, I need to up to thigh highs of that compression level as well as sitting down as much as I can and to avoid standing and walking as much as possible for now.
I have a walker and it has been a huge asset. I already am able to go out for long hours without coming home to be so wiped out that I am bedridden for two days in severe chronic pain, or flare ups of my condition. And while the walker is my saving grace and freedom, it unfortunately is not enough for days when I am out for most of the day or multiple days. I still need more help for days I am out long periods and that is why a wheelchair is the right option for me.
I am on disability so my funds are not only extremely limited, I am not even allowed to save up the money needed for this chair without going over the amount I am allowed to have to my name. My insurance will also not cover this chair. So as you can see, I am in a place where I am unable to do this myself.
The chair in particular I am looking at is the Quickie 5R Ultralight Rigid chair with a Ki Mobility Axom back and Jay cushion (cushion is included with the chair). This manual chair will be custom fitted for me and to meet my needs, hence the cost. The back is due to me needing extra support in my back to help with my chronic back pain I experience. Not only this the chair is extremely light weight meaning easier for me to push myself as well as easy for me to break down to store. It's designed so that it can be folded super small to fit on the floor behind a front seat of my car, which is very good!
This is the chair, without cushion and Axon back
This is the chair stock photos, so mine will have different color, wheels, and look.
This is the chair seat, that is waterproof and made to make sitting long-term comfortable for me.
And here we have the Ki Mobility Axom back! This is around the size and shape I want, but not in this color. It also is made with soft and durable material that is waterproof as well.
As it stands, the money of this goes towards my chair and a backseat that is not standard with the chair. The goal amount will cover the chair, and back seat. Anything over the cost on here will go towards Gofundme fees and tax.
Thank you all for reading and checking this out!!
