Bread oven down payment for my cottage bakery!

Hi, my name is Alison Latimer.

At the beginning of this year, 2023, I began selling homemade sourdough bread out of my small farm kitchen. The business has continually grown since then. I now have two bake days: one for customers here in our small town of Bishopville and then one for customers in Columbia. My small electrical oven is finding it difficult to keep up with the demand of my growing business and I've had to split my baking times to give it a rest so that it doesn't overheat. I'm at the point where I need a bigger oven if I'm going to continue providing my customers with sourdough.

My husband and I are also going to be working on converting an old bank downtown into our dream business, Little Town Market, where we'd like to sell coffee, baked sourdough goods, and farm products. So with the impending growth, I'm feeling the pressure to invest in a bread oven. I have saved up roughly 2k for the oven so far. The company, Simply Bread, is based out of California. Their ovens are manufactured and assembled in the USA and they offer some of the best support for small bakers. The total for the oven is $8,490 but they also offer a one or two year payment plan: however, a downpayment of $3,800 is required if you select the payment plan. I have set this fundraiser to 3k with the hope of being able to give Simply Bread a larger downpayment so that I can lower the monthly payment by a bit.
