Breadwinners Community Walk&Picnic for Refugee Week!

Dear Community,

We are thrilled to announce our special event to celebrate Refugee Week 2024—a Community Walk and Picnic aimed at bringing together our community and raising vital funds to support young refugees in the UK. This event will take place on Sunday, 23rd June 2024, and we need your help to make it a success!

Why This Event Matters

Refugee Week is a time to honour the strength and resilience of refugees and to celebrate the rich diversity they bring to our communities. For many young refugees, arriving in a new country can be a daunting experience filled with numerous challenges. At Breadwinners, we are dedicated to providing work experience, mentorship, and training to young people, helping them to build brighter futures.

The Event

Our 15k Community Walk will start at the beautiful Greenwich Peninsula Market and take us along the scenic River Thames, through vibrant markets, and over iconic landmarks like Tower Bridge. We will finish at the serene Victoria Park, where we will enjoy a delightful picnic together. This walk will promotes community spirit and togetherness, welcoming refugees!

We are reaching out to our amazing supporters to help us fund this event and provide continuous support to young refugees. Last year alone we supported 176 people, lets show the UK welcomes refugees!
