Break Free: Viv's Journey to a Safe Home

Hi everyone, my name is Viv.

I'm in desperate need right now & I have nowhere or anyone to turn to.

Living with my parents has been a living hell for me since I was a child. I thought about getting emancipated when I was 15, but that didn't work out.

It's been emotionally, physically, & mentally draining living with abusive parents; especially when they're African because no one seems to understand what you're going through, it's almost normal.

I've been sexually harassed & my parents didn't do anything about it; my sister has as well.

I'm in school right now but haven't been able to get a good job for over 2 years now & my parents want to evict me; if they do, I would literally have nowhere to go.

I have no other family nor do I have friends that I could stay with, so it's either I stay or be on the streets.

I really need help finding a place of my own.

I want to save up & move out because this is something I've been meaning to do for the longest, but it's the lack of funds that have me strapped.

Please help me out here, it would be greatly appreciated.
