She is not just my sister she is also a caring mother of four, a wonderful daughter grandmother, aunt, niece and dear friend to many. She is the glue that holds our family together our family party planner and always opens her home for us with food, fun and fellowship. Tiffany is an active member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church of Wentzville Mo. where she is committed to her walk with God. She loves to sing in the choir and is extremely passionate about her teaching position with their Youth ministry (KLICK). The kids love her, and she loves them too, I can’t speak highly enough about all she does. She is faithful, reliable and always willing to help someone in need. Tiffany has been self-sufficient all her life starting her first job at the age of 14.
She currently is the owner and Master Stylist at Dreamz Style Studio. She has been in business for 20 years strong. She has a personal connection with each of her clients and goes above and beyond to make them look and feel their best! Her clients like to call her salon the “ladies lounge” as she makes the atmosphere warm and welcoming providing them a space to be free, offer’s comfort, relaxation, laughter, and fellowship. She strives to do her best her 5-Star rating and reputation speak for themselves.
Tiffany is a pillar in our community. With no hesitation, she donated her time to the Make a Wish foundation making a princess's wish come true. She has been featured on several websites: https://www.atriume.com/salon/dreamz-by-tiffany-salon---spa-llc-wentzville , https://www.bestprosintown.com/mo/ofallon/i-dream-of-tiffany-beauty-salon-/ , https://insidethemagic.net/2020/09/dream-disney-princess-party-little-girl-cancer-rwb1/
Tiffany was training and in the middle of a transition to fulfil her other passion, helping people who suffer from hair loss (i.e., alopecia and cancer patients) she truly makes hair Dreamz come true.
Unfortunately, her path was suddenly interrupted due to Domestic Violence on June 12 her arm was 100% dislocated and broken. Her career came to a sudden halt when she was rushed to the E.R. She had to have a cat scan of her head, x-rays, then sedated due to the pain while doctors attempted to fix her arm and put her arm in a cast. When she woke, she learned she would have to see an orthopedic doctor she was in a cast for approximately 4 weeks. She had to have surgery on July 7th she came out of surgery only to find out she has a very rare and bad injury. As of result of this, the doctor's plan of action during surgery was unsuccessful. Between her recovery and physical therapy, doctors told Tiffany her post-op recovery time will be 12 weeks totalling 4 months out of work at a minimum. She also learned she is left with a hole in her joint where doctors were unable to repair the break that may require future surgery. The doctor also stated that after a joint dislocation, the joint is forever compromised. The injuries are life-changing and the scar will be a constant reminder of that day.
As you can imagine, as a stylist this can be very devastating. The health of her arms and hands is vital to her future in her career. She is home resting allowing God to heal her physically and work on her mentally and spiritually. She truly misses her salon and seeing her client’s happy faces!
She hid this DV for several weeks but after lots of prayers along with the love and support of her family and close friends, she now refuses to suffer in silence. She now wants to advocate for other women in her situation and be an example letting them know DV is never ok, and they are not alone.
Tiffany was granted a restraining order and is taking the proper measures to move forward to provide a healthy and happy life for herself and her children.
As her sister, I am asking with a sincere heart if you feel compelled to help her as she wouldn’t think twice about helping someone else in this situation. These unforeseen circumstances caught her totally off guard and truly turned her world upside down.
Any donations will assist her while she is out of work. She has several medical bills due to the recent events, salon expenses, shelter, personal bills, children, food, utilities and vehicle expenses, etc.
11/16/23 UPDATE:
Tiffany has had another surgery due to her arm not healing appropriately and loosing all flexibility in her arm and wrist. It has been a week now and she is in recovery it’s rough but optimistic this time with a new doctor and better physical therapy.
Please continue to pray for her healing and give her strength! Times are even harder right now with no support at all from her abuser aka soon to be ex-spouse aka father to her daughter (who is in grade school).
We are asking you to share, help spread the word to not just get her back on her feet to give her some type of peace of mind! Her bills are staking up from utilities to car note, household supplies, she has double of everything because of her business that hasn’t been open since June but of course she is still responsible for rent etc.
If you know of any resources in Missouri that will help please message, stay Blessed!
