Sub-Zero Run for Mental Health
Donation protected
André Belibi Eloumou, an extreme athlete and motivational speaker, has already made waves with his incredible feats. In May 2024, he broke the Guinness World Record for the “longest duration full body contact with ice (male)” during the Servus Calgary Marathon Runners’ Expo in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. His goal was to raise awareness and support for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by supporting Autism Canada.
Inspired by his father’s journey as an immigrant to France, André ran over 3,000 kilometers from Normandy, France to Rabat, Morocco in 2018, highlighting the plight of refugees. He followed that up with a 4,500-kilometer run across the United States in 2020, partnering with USA for UNHCR to support migrants and refugees worldwide.
Now, André is planning an even more challenging endeavor: running hundreds of kilometres between Calgary and Cochrane, Alberta over six consecutive days in January 2025 (exact date TBD). He'll be wearing only running shoes and shorts, braving the frigid temperatures of the next polar vortex in Canada.
His mission? To promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Through mindset coaching, breathwork and ice bath André offers hope to those like himself who have struggled with these issues.
André’s determination and inspiring message have garnered attention from news media and social media alike. Andre needs your help to cover costs for organizing and promoting this cause. Please consider making a donation.
