Support Breanna and Family - Eaton Canyon Fire in Altadena
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
On January 8th, our family lost our home of nearly 25 years to the Eaton Canyon fire in Altadena, California. Fueled by the intensity of the Santa Ana winds, the fire spread rapidly. That morning at 3:00 a.m., we were woken up by wildfire alerts and the smell of smoke filling our home. Shortly after, we were forced to evacuate our home immediately, with little to no time to gather our belongings, leaving us with limited financial resources and significant obstacles ahead.
Thankfully, my parents and I are safe. Tragically, the fire claimed all of our possessions, except for the little we were able to carry at the spur of the moment.
We are incredibly grateful for any donations our community can offer during this troubling time as we work toward recovering from this devastating loss and as I finish out my last semester at Prairie View A&M University in Texas.
If willing and able, funds will be used to cover expenses such as toiletries, clothing, food, housing, academic costs, and travel.
Thank you for your compassion and support during this challenging time.
With sincere gratitude,
Breanna McDonald and Family
